It says im on windows mce 2002, which i know is incorrect considering i bought it from dell as a 2005 mce and this was in 2006, so they wouldnt have sold me an old version of MCE, and second i have the MCE 2005 install disk on hand, so it is legit. Then after i took a look at Properties after right clicking the My Computer icon, and this is what came up: Hi, my problem is that ive been trying to install the media center edition extender for the xbox 360 and i figured out my problem, when trying to install it, it would say i was on an incompatible OS ( ), but i looked in my media center and everything was fine, it said windows xp media center edition 2005 update rollup 2, exactly what i needed.
